The problem
Whether the firm was finding brand partners for a client or add-on targets for a private equity portfolio, every project started with the same research: who's out there, who owns them, what industry they're in, and who they compete with. Then came the harder question of fit, answered differently by each analyst, with no way to know how far to trust the answers.
What we built
A shared database of companies, brands, and other potential partners, where every claim carries its evidence. Discovery starts from a brief, such as a client's ideal partner or a fund's acquisition criteria, and widens the list from filings, websites, and industry sources. Models classify industry step by step through the standard hierarchy, and a competitor is only admitted above a set confidence. Each candidate is then scored for fit against the brief's criteria, with the reasoning and sources shown for every score. Anything uncertain is flagged for a person to review, and sources are re-checked before an agent's decision is applied. The same structure holds influencers, creators, and events, and agents query it directly over MCP.
